In 1988, Donny Privett founded American Paving on a simple premise:  Be the Best by Guaranteeing the Best Experience to Customers.   He wanted to take the risk, confusion, worry and complication out of choosing a paving contractor by just guaranteeing the best experience.  Make it simple and easy…   If you find a better price, we match it.   If you’re not happy with something, we fix it and so on.

Donny served the country honorably as a Navy Seal and the name American Paving reflected Donny’s Love for his country, community and people!  Plus, it reflected the mission to be the best at what we do.  Just like the great people of this country, whatever we do, we do to the best of our abilities.

In 1992, we acquired VisCo Paving, and continued operating the 2 businesses separately.  Then, in 1999, we formed Vision Services LLC and merged the brands into American - VisCo Paving.  This combination was successful for many years because we never wavered from our mission to serve customers and give them the best experience possible.

However, with all the changes going on in the world, we began thinking about our next 30 years.  Technology, social media and the internet have transformed the way people live and how businesses operate.

So, in early 2020, we decided to simplify our name to just Visco and create a new, updated logo.   We hope you like it!

We believe this will align with today's social media world, but also reflect one of our guiding principles:   Keep it Simple and Easy!   Besides, if Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) can do it, why not us 😊

Now we are prepared and looking forward to an even more successful next 30 years!
